Here's Dorothy at Woods Canyon--November fishing there was excellent.  Some Rainbows were 18".

Tiger trout fishing on the rim can be very productive.  The club encourages trips to local streams and lakes.

I tried fishing on my own the first time I went to Lee's Ferry last March.  I watched on local guy catch at least 10 fish in the hour or so I was fishing around him.

With Larry Hess' guidance I learned some of the better spots and that the fish are really holding along the drop offs, not way out in the rough water.  Don't have to wade in very far, maybe only knee deep.  The boulders are slippery and several times I wished I had Larry's fold up staff, but I did not get wet.  This year it was Glen Whitlock and Tom Herman that were my coaches and it was fun to experience fishing up stream.
